COG is pleased to announce that Dr. Jami Obermayer has received a contract award from the National Institutes of Health – National Institute on Drug Abuse entitled “Screening Assessment and Resources.” This study is a Phase II, Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) award that seeks to further develop the Screening and Assessment Resources Phase I product, a comprehensive system designed to facilitate the automated delivery of substance use risk screening, assessment, and referral services. The system will be evaluated in a randomized controlled trial to compare outcomes between the intervention group patients and patients receiving usual customary care.
